The optical smoke detector OSD 2000 operates according to the Tyndall principle and is used for early identification of open and smouldering fires with smoke development. The responsiveness can be adjusted by means of software according to EN54/7. The detector offers a standard idle value plotting with pollution detection and can analyse pre-alarms. Each detector contains an integrated short circuit insulator. It can be switched off separately and is insensitive to electromagnetic disturbances. The OSD 2000 has been tested according to EN54/part 7.

The temperature detector DMD 2000 responds both to a rapid rise of temperature and upon reaching a pre-set maximum temperature. It is available in three sensitivity classes according to EN 54/5 (Class 1: 62°C, Class 2: 70°C, class 3: 78°C) and by default is equipped with an integrated short circuit insulator. Each detector can be switched off separately and is insensitive to electromagnetic disturbances. The DMD 2000 has been tested according to EN54/part 5.

The detector base USB 501 is used for connection of automatic fire detectors OSD 2000 and DMD 2000 to the loop system and, in its default design, is suited for surface and flush mounting (surface or flush installation of wires). Moreover, various special variants for hollow ceilings and concrete ceilings as well as for use in damp rooms are available. A 6-pin terminal block is used for connection of the fire alarm cables. If required, another 4-pin terminal block can be plugged on. By means of the automatic closing mechanism integrated in the terminal block, the installation of the loop circuit can be checked even without installed detectors. It is not important in which direction the base is mounted, since the LEDs are organised in the center of the detectors. (It is not required to direct the LEDs to the entrance of the room and/or area). A parallel indicator or a base siren can be connected optionally to the USB 501).

The non-automatic detector MCP 535 is used for manual triggering of a fire-alarm. It is in compliance with the relevant standards OENORM, EN54 and DIN, and is designed for surface mounting. A pending alarm is indicated by the built-in LED. By default the detector is equipped with an integrated short circuit insulator and can be switched off separately. The MCP 535 is available in the colours red, yellow or blue, protection type IP 52 or IP 54. By exchangeable marking labels any text or language variants can be implemented easily and rapidly.

Input/Output module BA 013 includes a relay output with programmable fail-safe position, two inputs for scanning of zero-potential contacts and an optocoupler input for monitoring of external voltage. BA-013 is primarily used for actuation of special detectors to the loop system and includes a short circuit insulator. The module is installed in a plastic housing of protection type IP 66.

The Branch Module BA-AIM is used for integration of threshold value detectors into the loop system and/or as a branch for monitoring of EX-areas. It comprises a monitored input, a parallel indicator output and a short circuit insulator. The module is integrated in a plastic housing of protection type IP 66.

The optical smoke detector SLK-EN offers a very even response behaviour to all types of smoke aerosols due to a special smoke box. The detector box can be exchanged easily. Testing is performed in an environmentally friendly way by means of a reed contact. Also the photogrammetic camera is tested by an optical test diode. Overall height including base: 54 mm. Complies with European standard EN 54, part 7.

The maximum rate-of-rise detector DCC-E is designed for the detection of fires with quick temperature rise or for circumstances in which the use of smoke detectors is not possible on account of ambient impacts. An alarm is released both upon reaching of a preset maximum temperature and upon rapid rise of temperature. The DCC-E may be used in all room heights permitted for temperature detectors (max. 7.5 m according to VdS, TRVB) because of tight tolerances in response values (class 1 according to EN54) and complies with European Standard EN 54, Part 5.

Maximum detector DFE-90E – due to its high response temperature (90°) it is used in places with high temperature fluctuations, specifically in rooms with high ambient temperatures and/or high humidity. The DFE-90E needs no power in idle state and is designed for detection of fires with slow and rapid rise of temperature.

The flame detector HF-24 E is used in areas where a quick detection of flames is required. By means of a UV-tube the detector identifies the UV-share contained in the flames (185-300 nm). The monitored area increases together with the height of a room; for example if the room height is 4 m, the flame detector can monitor an area of 150 m2.

Detector base BSI/TMI – suitable for all automatic fire detectors of Schrack Monologue technology and by default includes the addressing of the installed detector (if the detector is replaced, no new addressing will be necessary). It includes a red LED (alarm indication) and offers sufficient space for flush-mounted cable entry. For surface mounting of the line network two predetermined breaking points for cable entries are available at the opposite sides of the base.

The non-automatic detector MBM/MTM for monologue technology is used for manual release of a fire alarm, in accordance with DIN/EN54. The alarm is indicated by means of an integrated LED, while the push button remains arrested. Reset is performed by opening the door with a key and pushing the black reset lever upwards in the direction of the arrow. Only then will electric resetting of the detector zone by the fire-alarm panel be possible.
